Acceptable use
Service purpose
Shugoi helps application operators reduce technical abuse, automated signups and clearly fraudulent access. Technical signals are used only for this protection, security, service diagnostics and billing.
Prohibited signal use
Customers must not repurpose technical signals or derived identifiers to build advertising files, perform individual analytics, track a person across services, personalise prices, assess creditworthiness, monitor employees, target minors or make decisions based on origin, health, opinions, religion or any protected characteristic.
Other prohibited conduct
You may not compromise a system, distribute malware, bypass a security measure, impersonate someone, test an attack without authorisation, disrupt infrastructure, send spam, conduct abusive scraping, process data without a lawful basis or use Shugoi for unlawful activity.
Customer responsibility
The customer remains responsible for its rules, purposes, notices and compliant integration. Shugoi is not responsible for decisions, campaigns, access denials or other abusive uses decided by the customer. Customers must provide a contact point, retain necessary evidence and handle data-rights requests under GDPR.
Suspension and protective measures
For a breach, serious risk to people or systems, a competent authority request or non-payment, Shugoi may limit or suspend access to the extent necessary to protect the service, subject to mandatory law. Where suspension results from a customer breach, amounts for the affected period may be non-refundable unless mandatory law provides otherwise. Reporting
Report abuse or clearly unlawful use to [email protected] with the URL, context, verifiable evidence and your authority to act. Do not send unnecessary personal data.
